Fractional CTO
This is a part-time, remote Fractional CTO role focused on full-stack AI solutions and production-grade LLM implementations. You'll define and oversee technical strategy, set architectural standards, and guide the end-to-end design of AI-enabled platforms and applications — aligning every technology decision with PowerOne Creative's long-term goals.

The role, day to day
- Define and oversee technical strategy and set architectural standards across the studio.
- Guide the end-to-end design of AI-enabled platforms and applications.
- Review and refine system architecture, directing full-stack and ML engineering efforts.
- Ensure robust MLOps and deployment practices for production LLM systems.
- Collaborate with product and business stakeholders to prioritise technical initiatives.
- Mentor engineers and establish best practices for security, scalability and performance.
- Evaluate tools and frameworks, and drive technical roadmaps aligned to long-term goals.
You'll be a great fit if
- Strong full-stack software development, including production systems that integrate AI and LLM technologies.
- Proficiency in IT strategy and architecture — technical roadmaps, scalable system designs and cloud-native solutions.
- Product development experience, translating business requirements into well-scoped technical solutions with cross-functional teams.
- Solid project management — planning, prioritisation, risk management and delivery oversight in distributed, remote teams.
- Hands-on with modern AI/ML tooling, LLM platforms and MLOps (model deployment, monitoring, versioning and governance).
- Knowledge of security, compliance and reliability best practices for production, data-intensive systems.
- Excellent communication and leadership — able to mentor engineers and influence stakeholders at executive level.
- Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

- Experience working in international, remote-first environments and across multiple time zones.
